World Cup Group stage articles
[edit]I'm proposing to delete the group articles since there is infor in the main FIFA World Cup 2006 article. Kingjeff 21:37, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
Instead, I propose to remove some of the information at the 2006 FIFA World Cup page. I think, that the results at that page should be as on 2004 European Football Championship. When the WC is over, a statistic page also could be made, also as Euro 04. kalaha 21:32, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
Theres loads of additional information in these group pages, ive enjoyed seeing all the stats about each match appearing eachday. You could put this information in the FIFA World Cup 2006 article but id say the article would become too big, seems fine to me. Frainc 2310 15 June 2006.
But the main article is linked to the external match reports which provides the same information and lends credibility to the main page and this page is just an additional page not needed. Kingjeff 22:13, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
Dont delete this, it has alot of good information.
I think it's fine the way it is.. the amount of information on the WC 2006 could be lowered but these individual pages for the groups should remain.
You can also find the info at [[www.fifaworldcup.com FIFA World Cup website]. Kingjeff 13:18, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
Qualification scenario
[edit]Until the game between Holland and Ivory Coast is finished, we cannot say that Argentina has confirmed qualification and Serbia & Montenegro has been eliminated.
Delete, but not yet. This article is useful during the course of the world cup but really has no place in an encyclopedia in the long term. User:Gerrynobody 17:35, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
